Ethiopian New Year Celebration
We wish you a happy, prosperous and healthy Ethiopian New Year (2004 Ethiopian Year).
Sponsored by our church, We had a wonderful celebration of the New Year on Saturday night Sept 10, 2011. The food service, drink, music, and the guests were all wonderful. We are sure every had had a memorable night.
As always, such events will not happen without the dedication of people of Medhanialem. In particular, we would like to thank W/zo Azeb and W/zo Rahel for being the get-go and organizer of such a wonderful night, our sisters for preparing and decorating the space, preparing and serving great food, and all of who have helped out in many ways. We are also grateful to the artist, Shamble, without whom it would not be so enjoyable night.
We have uploaded some videos onto youtube. You can find them by following this link.
Enjoy. From The Board of Trustees.
